After an extremely popular 2025, the Goulburn Running Festival presented by Goulburn Soldiers Club is back for two separate race days at Riverside Park!
Whether you’re tackling the Half Marathon, going for a solid 10 km or 5 km, or just out for a good time in the Goulburn Mulwaree Council 2 km Family Dash, there’s a race (and a vibe) for everyone.
All event finishers will receive a unique Goulburn-themed medal, post-race snacks, sponsor giveaways, and an online finishers’ certificate.

THE COURSE
This event offers a fully pathed, undulating course surrounding the Wollondilly River.

8:00 am: Registration Opens
9:00 am: John Connell Real Estate 10 km race event commences
9:25 am: Goulburn Soldiers Club Half Marathon race event commences.
10:30 am: Goulburn McDonalds 5 km race event commences.
11:00 am: Goulburn Mulwaree Council 2 km Family Dash commences
11:30 am: Prize-giving ceremony.
The event village is only reachable by walking, cycling, or by car, as there is no Public Transport available on a Sunday morning. There is a small car park at Riverside Park with plenty of parking available in the surrounding residential streets.
All event distances are professionally chip timed by Multisport Australia.
We will have water stations throughout the full course that will have both water and Tailwind Nutrition for competitors to consume.
– Half Marathon: 3 km, 5 km, 9.6 km, 11.5 km, 13.5 km, 18 km, 20 km,
– 10 km: 2.5 km, 7 km, 8.7 km
– 5 km: 1.5 km, 2 km, 3.7 km
Each finisher will receive a new 2026 Goulburn-themed medal at the finish line as well as other sponsor giveaways.
The 2 km race is a Family Dash event aimed at getting youngsters involved in healthy outdoor activities. An accompanying adult can run with their child for an additional $10. Register your child first, then add an accompanying adult bib during the registration options. Please note the accompanying adult will not be timed and will not receive a finisher’s medal.
There are no cut-off times for the 2 km, 5 km, or 10 km. There is a cut-off time of 3.5 hours for the Half Marathon event.
Race bibs are printed three weeks before race day and posted two weeks out. To have your name on your bib, make sure you register at least three weeks before the event. If you’d like your bib posted, the cut-off is two weeks before race day.
There will be a photographer present on the course taking photos of you, which will be posted on our socials following the race.
There WILL be other pedestrians and cyclists on the paths. We recommend you do not use earphones, and you need to pay close attention to everything around you. Please be aware of people, cyclists, and dogs.
