Parramatta Race Series 2025

Race 1: 30th March
Race 2: 29th June
Race 3: 14th September

This flat courses run adjacent to the Parramatta River, offering racers the perfect opportunity to strive for that new personal best.

The Parramatta Race Series includes a Half Marathon, 10k, 5k and 2k Family Dash in each of the three races.

Welcome to the Parramatta Race Series, with three separate events throughout 2025 – each consisting of a Half Marathon, 10k, 5k or 2k Family Dash. Each race will have its own unique themed medal for you to collect at the finish line.

Taking in the beautiful surroundings of the Parramatta Valley Cycleway between George Kendall Riverside Park and Western Sydney University along the Parramatta River, all courses are flat making it the perfect course for a personal best or marking the first race for beginners.

Prizes will be rewarded for teams based on personal bests, not necessarily the fastest! We therefore encourage people of all abilities to get involved; whether you are an avid runner, occasional jogger or leisurely walker – everyone has a chance of winning.

At each event, all finishers will receive a new themed medal, post-race snacks, sponsor giveaways and a finisher certificate.

OTHER DETAILS

Prizes based on your own improvement rather than the fastest!

All event distances are professionally chip timed by Multisport Australia.

Each finisher will receive a new themed medal at the finish line as well as other sponsor giveaways and snacks.

The 2k race is a Family Dash event aimed at getting youngsters involved in healthy outdoor activities. An accompanying adult can run with their child for an additional $10. Register your child first, then add an accompanying adult bib during the registration options. Please note the accompanying adult will not be timed and will not receive a finishers medal.

There are no cut off times for the 2k, 5k or 10k. There is a cut off time of 4 hours for the Half Marathon event.

There will be a photographer present on the course taking photos of you, which will be posted on our socials following the race.

There WILL be other pedestrians and cyclists on the paths. We recommend you do not use earphones and you need to pay close attention to everything around you. Please be aware of people, cyclists and dogs.

DO YOU TRAIN WITH FRIENDS OR A SOCIAL GROUP?

At any Race Hub Australia event, every entrant is eligible to win the big prize. We’re different from other races, in the fact that we award prizes based on overall improvement to individual and team personal bests.

To be eligible for the team prize, you must have a current personal best and enter a team of 4+ runners who have all joined Race Hub Australia’s Strava group.

For example, four members of Rachel’s Runners have entered Race Hub’s inaugural Parramatta 10km event. Prior to the event those four members had an average PB between them of 52 minutes and 30 seconds. At completion of the Race Hub event, they smashed their PB and now have an average PB of 50 minutes and 30 seconds. Therefore their average improvement within the team is 2 minutes (don’t worry, leave the maths with us).

WANT TO VOLUNTEER?

We are always on the lookout for volunteers on race day to help out with course marshalling and registration. It’s a great way to experience the buzz of race day without having to tie up the laces. In addition to being amongst the energy of the race, Race Hub Australia are delighted to offer volunteers the following as a thank you for their help on the day:

  • Free Parramatta Race Series T-Shirt
  • Free entry to any future race
  • Free morning coffee
  • Post event breakfast with staff and volunteers
